I have an old watercolour picture of Lembotropis (formerly Cytisus) nigricans (Black Broom) which has some writing on it which is neither Latin nor French. If anyone can translate what's written, or even suggest which language it is, I'd be very grateful. (We British are utterly hopeless linguists! :()
