Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Aulacigastridae ? -> Physiphora alceae (Ulidiidae)

This afternoon I shot a strange little fly ... Having a very quick look at the gallery I found that Aulacigastridae could be the family of this fly ...

never seen such a thing before ...

Am I right ?

No, I think it's Physiphora alceae (Ulidiidae).

Oohh ! no chance : it was at the end of the alphabetical order of the gallery and I started from the A ... B)

Sometimes it is better to start from the rear end, from Z, as U is much closer... P. alceae, no doubts!
