Last body segment of 5 rings, posteriorly cut, with distinct lobes around spiracles, anterior spiracles with 3 openings (Anisopodidae)
Last body segment rounded and elongated without distinct lobes around posterior spiracles, divided in 4 rings, anterior spiracles with many openings (Mycetobiidae)
