I suppose that you wanted location. :) But, here goes the info you really want: ;)
Medium-size (height in the same level of knees) and long plant. The leaves where I found the fly were Allium sp (it grew up spontaneously). Sea about 5 km - so wet climate. The local is very sunny and sometimes very windy. Very near and around there are thousands of Zea mays (in this moment it could reach about 2-3 m). Does it help? If you want more info, let me know!
