This fly was bred from Purple Hairstreak this year (by Dave Monk). Any pointers for an id?

maybe it refers to Neozephyrus quercus...

Looks anonymous enough to be
Bactromyia aurulenta and the host would fit :)

The wing venation, long antennae and erect apical scutellar indeed are consistent with Bactromyia
