From midwest Sweden 2006-07-08. Is it a Machimus sp? Thnx in advance (TIA)!

This was taken the day after. I think it is the same species.

Considering the region, this could be a Neoitamus species, probably Neoitamus socius (?).

Hmm. The ovipositor is too short for Neoitamis and so are the postorbital hairs. I'd still consider
Machimus/Tolmerus the best bet. Could be
Tolmerus atricapillus, some specimens have almost black femora.

Thnx for the input. I have to accept that some flies isn't gonna be identified ... :(
