Hi,

this one looks a lot like the previous one but scutellum is not as red and it's bigger, 8,8mm long. July 15. 2010 Loviisa, Finland

I was going to suggest Sturmia bella but then I noticed that the palps are yellow ... not too sure then :(

Still, I perfectly understand it, since it looks very 'Sturmiini'.
So I expect it to be something like Drino or Nilea.
Are the ocellars really missing ? That would suggest Drino

Very good point ... I had a Drino galii here recently (part of the Caucasus batch) and it surprised me how goninine it looked. It's a bit tricky to see but I can't see any ocellars on these photos so Drino does sound like the favourite :)

If you had a 'Goniini'like Drino galii, I'd bet it is D. vicina.
Galii is pretty Sturmiini.
However, Mesnil messed up these two.
So check T&H

Well, I used the term loosely ... but it keyed well to D.galii here and anyway I'll send it to you later in the year when I have finished pulling my hair out with the rest of the Caucasus material :D There are some very interesting things (which I'll put on the blog soon) but I still have about 80% to look through and I'm down to the "dull black & grey-dusted" ones ;)
