Today, sandy island on Wisla river, very active flies displaying their white spots on faces and abdomens, cf. Nikita,s pictures in the gallery of Muscidae could be one of Lipse sp. Am I right?

Lispe consanguinea.
This species should be typical on such localities as Wisla River - it prefers sandy beach of large rivers. In contrast with tentaculata who prefers small rivers or silty ponds. Though it isn't a strict rule.

Note that it is Lispe, not Lipse. ;)
