Hi, photographed this yesterday in the S E of England. We have a couple of variagated Euonymus bushes just coming into flower and I want to record as many of the species that I can that visit it. Could anyone help with the identifications of this diptera please?
This one was about ~7 to 8mm. From the books and photos on web sites I can't really tell, the eyes are quite dark and not particularly red. My other option was Ramonda latifrons? Help anyone.
