And personally I like this species too. The larva has typical pigmentation of the anal lobes and the pupa was found together with the larva, so I assumes that it was this species too. The thoracic horn seems also typical. It was found in a fairly eutrophic wide ditch on the isle of Flakee near Kranendijk, Achthuizen on 22 april 2008. Along the banks and in the water many aquatic weeds were artificially planted.
