Seems to be
Carcelia, and seems to key out as
lucorum, using Belshaw, T&H and Chris's revised British key - or maybe I'm being overoptimistic!
30/4/2010; Devon, England.

It does rather look like
C.lucorum to me too ... and it certainly isn't
C.bombylans, which would be another fairly frequent candidate (because they tend to have a yellower dusting, especially on the thorax. :)

It does seem to run to
C.lucorum with the key, don't think its
C.bombylans as it has a dark basicosta.
Nice pics, could we have the record data for the Recording Scheme database please.

Thanks Matt and Chris, happy to send in records - I've already sent in last years to Chris - if it's OK I'll save up this years and submit in bulk later when everything's been processed.

That's fine, thanks - keeps the admin to a minimum for both of us :D
