You may be right (I did not check further, really) but you are apparently about as knowledgable about ephydrids as I am, otherwise you would have corrected me with some snide remark. :P

Snide remarks....me. Must be confusing me with someone else...I only do witty ripostes :P

Roger

Edit; Having re-read your post Paul...That was a bit snidey, who learned you that?

:)..I'm kind of short of witty ripostes too. but will add that this is maybe the most viewed species in the Gallery. http://www.dipter...to_id=1444, I noted that it had been viewed 8600+ times (which I thought odd at the time, so I thought I would check its progress) when I sent my photos to the Gallery (14.12.09), by 20.03.10 this had risen to 10,039, and for some strange reason this has now risen to 10,768. (AND COUNTING). POPULAR FLY OR WHAT....?

And just for luck.....http://www.dipter...d_id=16833. No snide remark required..:P
But here it is...straight from Gabor's horses mouth.....
