Hi, in August I found two similar black Psychodids by a brook with black scales. They could be the sae species. Around 2 mms, by a small slow brook. This is the first one:

I have 2 pictures of terminalia, antnna is broken off.

A lot of advances were made in Psychodidae systematics in the 70s and 80s, but much of this work was problematic. Vaillant's work in Lindners "Die Fliegen der Palearktischen Region" was for instance not in concordance with the ICZN. Other works were impractical or lacked sufficient data to back it up, and as a consequence the nomenclature and higher classification of the group has remained controversial ever since.
The controversy is annoying, because it is almost exclusively about conventions and formalities. The actual science behind it is nowhere as controversial.
