I see there a a few
Tabanus sp
that has whitish eyes, for example
T. nigrovittatus
,
T. lineola
and
T. conterminus
. Perhaps you have a checklist of WV Tabanidae ...
Nota bene. I no nothing about Tabanidae ... :)
