I've found a swedish diptera checklist from 2005 and no Neomochtherus sp is on that list (which doesn't mean it can't be one). I've seen lists from Finland and Lithuania and the only species on their lists was Neomochtherus pallipes. I found one photo if that (below), but it's seems lighter and the legs are yellow. It's possible that photo isn't right. I also found that in UK N. pallipes is called "Devon red-legged robberfly" and my species has some red at least ...
