Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Empididae?

Hello,

from this fly I only have this lateral view and, if needed, a very fuzzy picture from above. Nevertheless - can perhaps something be said about it? I guess it's famiy empididae.

It was about 10mm long, and is from july from the austrian mountains.

Hello Paul,

you could tell more? Please! Or did I misunderstand this? I just look through the Rhamphomyia pictures in the gallery. There are only some black species. R. albohirta seems to fit rather well, or R. aethiops.
