Hi, this little one was a by-catch, I found it with a collected hymenopteran. It was on a Daucus flower. Some 2 mms long, sadly I lost the specimen (blew it away).

Oh that's what I was fearing. My first Carnid, and the specimen is lost. I knew that wing veination is not Sphaerocerid-like. Until my camera was working, I said to myself that I will not post this image, beacause I'll regret loosing the specimen. Now that my camera broke down, it's something that cheers me up - anyway, it's a new family for me and DI. Thanks!

Papp has described some dozen new Meoneura sp. I think partly from Hungary, of course. We will never know if this would be also new, if it is really a Meoneura. BUT next year I'm going back there, so let's wait until then:)
