Hi Tim,

Do you have other pictures of this fly, preferably from the side, giving a better view on the abdomen? If so, it might be possible to tell with which of the two (O. petrei or O. germinationis) you are dealing. My guess would be O. germinationis.
Another way to know you are not dealing with Sciomyzidae is the fact that the pvt (bristles just behind the ocelli) are missing. In Sciomyzidae these bristles are present.
