Themara maculipennis (Westwood, 1848) (Tephritidae: Phytalmiinae:
Acanthonevrini). Not too much common. I am not sure if it has been recorded from the Peninsular Malaysia (there might be some some recent records like Permkam & Hancock 1995, since old good Elmo Hardy 1986).
