To tell you truth David, I still have doubts. Tomorrow I checked key in British Soldierflies..., according it, it is D. rufipes. But I also checked rather new key by Lehr in Diptera of Russian Far East. There isn't D. linearis in Far East, but there is D. rufipes. In description to D. rufipes Lehr write - "1-st segment of hind tarsus normal, in rare case a little bit enlarged" and " female hind legs normaly yellow orange with soma more blackish sites, rather rare - black".
