Terribly out of focus, but my only photo of this one...Today in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. On tree trunk bordering parking lot. Slightly smaller than Calliphora, but still decently sized.
Is ID possible despite deplorable photo quality?

Looks interesting, something like Carcelia or Nemorilla.
The hairs on the eyes are very long !
I've never seen a Nemorilla on a trunk.....
