This is another French Guianan fly with a nice mottled wing pattern. Is it a muscid?

No, Chris, it is Acalyptrata, near Lauxaniidae

Yes, this is a lauxaniid - in the genus Setulina. From what I can see, it is consistent with Setulina geminata, but that is not verifiable by a photo.
