Hello!

Does this male fly belong to genus Mydaea? Found yesterday in low vegetation, Ostwestfalen/Germany. Thanks in advance!

Could I add my image from today to yours.
It seems to me that my female is from same genus that your males.

In any case your photo is a substantial boost of the picture quality of this thread ;-)).

But it is reason why I wait same genus, not species.

As for my fly - under microscop A clearly reach wing margin - damned Anthomyiidae.

I am still confident mine is a Mydaea, have stored it under Mydaea sp..
