Hello Alisidae-forum,

I am searching what kind of Alisidae sp. this is.
~15 mm
place: Cronebos near Hilversum

I see some white hairs under the head.. Eutolmus rufibarbis?

greeting Robert,

Hi Robert,

I would say Lasiopogon cinctus, our earliest Asilid.

Thank you Ben,

Thorax and abdomen were braun/grey and it was sitting between dead leaves on the ground of a forrest. The legs were also black.
What I can not see is the open front-cel of the wing (dutch: voorrandcel vleugel open).
Maiby this had to do with my low experience in the flyworld, or it is difficult to see on this picture.

I hope to see this fly again soon, and see some more of it :)

Robert.
