hello flyforum,

I was wondering if this fly is Tachinidae?
When I looked at the scutellum, it shows an scutellum under it.
Is this the postscutellum? or is it just my imagination?
It got also many bristles (between head and thorax) and on it's bottom(sorry).
On the eyes it's got on some parts some yellow/whitish hairs.
size ~12 mm
place: Croneforest / Gooi / Netherlands

I have realy no experience with these kind of flies.

maiby someone can give some help?

greetings Robert,

Looks like a sarcophagid to me - but not sure which one. The body is very well marked with black and grey squares, the body is quite elongated and the tarsi have very pronounced pulvilli. :)
