Hi together,
I photographed this fly on 27 August 26 at an altitude of 2,250 m (Switzerland, Graubünden, Samnaun) beside a stream. Is it a female Eristalis rupium?

You are probably right - it's very worn and lost most of it's hair, but I think the big black spot of the wings and the yellow base of the hind femora second that.
