Tephitis acanthophilopsis Hering, quite rare in colections, but occurring throughout Europe through Balcans, Turley to N Iran. Apparently a sister-species to Tephritis cometa, and like the latter, associated with Cirsium , but other than arvense and vulgare, the hosts of cometa.

And yes, that group posesses white setula on the oviscape.
