A photographed a colourful jumping spider (Philaeus chrysops I believe) with what I think is a Bombylid on the north coast of Corfu on 16.5.24.
I have been unable to place this c9mm fly with a bold black and white dorsal abdominal patterning and some orange hairs at the tip of the abdomen to a genus (though some Bombylella and Exoprosopa images had some similarity). I'd be very grateful if anyone can suggest what this fly might be and correct me if I have the wrong fly family entirey!
