I know, poor pictures, she doesn't like to be phozographed.... But I had her on better shots in our garden two years ago, so could a female Neomochtherus geniculatus be confirmed here? 31.07.(07.08.2024 in our garden, Rheinbach near Bonn, Germany. 210m above sea level, big forest nearby. Dear JWV & Jörg,
Actually, the second photo does show N. geniculatus, but the first one a Tolmerus sp. as the ovipositor is just too short for N. geniculatus.

Oh, thank you for coming back to this thread after such a long time. I had been wondering about the different Abdomen/Wing-relation of photo 1 an photo 2, but was happy with N. geniculatus as confirmation. However, I have in my archive another "N. geniculatus" with a big ? Tolmerus a well, which one? 21.08.2024 Thank you so much, all the best for the new yeat, Jörg
