It is in the group with
P. nitidula but most of the legs are not properly visible to aid in identification. According to Drake (2013) vein R
2+3 should be longer in
nitidula and that lead to
compta in his key, but he mentions two other (non-British) species of which one had yellow antennae:
rutilans (described from Italy). If the face is glossy, then this species, if matt, then it should be
compta.
