Hi,
Please let me show you a series of yellow
Drosophila species. I hope we can put them in a group at least.
Again we are dealing with inhabitants of a bracket fungus. However, I am not sure if they belong to the same species as those in thread (2). Hopefully the pictures will reveal a few important features. Sometimes it's even difficult to exclude
Hirtodrosophila, so help is needed!

That was my unspoken suspicion, too... So they match the
D. confusa males of (2) - great! Thanks!
