Miltogramminae generally have large eyes and bare arista. My first thought from the top view of the thorax is Lucilia. Usually they are distinctive but when teneral they may need to go through a key.

I think you nailed it, John--here is side-by-side comparison of 11 mm calliphorid Calliphora vicina photoed in same location 9/2/17, showing the enlarged acrostical setae generally absent in other calyptrates, and the overall matching pattern
But the pale and shrunken teneral is otherwise so unlike the mostly shiny and metallic blow flies that I did not even consider them
