Hello everyone,
I photographed this fly today on a dry meadow in south-west Germany. I estimate the size at 6 to 7 mm. After comparing the pictures in the gallery I come to Systoechus ctenopterus. Can you confirm that.

Hi Siggi, Systoechus ctenopterus is correct:
vein R-M is close to the base of the discal-cell
