BugGuide lists only 2 species under Peleteria (Sphyrimyia). Peleteria haemorrhoa and Peleteria anaxias! Of those I think this "should be" Peleteria anaxias as Peleteria haemorrhoa has a black triangle on the base of the fourth abdominal segment. My fly is missing that, as per the attached photo.
