Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae? --> Melanophora roralis (m)

Hi,

This little black fly took a rest on the wall of our house in the late afternoon.

I would guess it could be a tachinid fly (Periscepsia sp?). Can that be confirmed or excluded from the attached image and/or is a narrower determination possible ?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), 04.07.2023, app. 6 mm
