What Neoascia do we have towards the North of Norway.. and what's needed to take to species?

One of the most dominant species of Syrphidae on an island in the Vega archipelago near Bronnoysund.

Female.

Some important characters, You should always try to get a view of the cross-veins of the wings (darkened in some species), and of the hind femora and front tibia. Two species - podagrica and obliqua - can hardly be distringuished from oneanother without a view of the under"belly" behind the hind basicocosta.
