the cross veins are not darkened , so there remains only four species :

Comme il n’y a pas de nervures transverses assombries il ne reste que 4 espèces :

- Neoascia tenur ,
- Neoascia meticulosa ,
- Neoascia geniculata et
- Neoascia annexa !!!

Not N. Annexa nor N. tenur because no yellow bands on tergite 2 and 3 (from what I see),
Not N. geniculata because no yellow bands on termites 2 & 3 and third antennas segment too long,

only 1 species left :

Neoascia meticulosa which must have :
Tarsi 1&2 yellow, female with a black and very large abdomen, third antennas segment must have a ratio of length to width between 1,5 and 2 and apex of femor yellow !
That’s the good species !!!

4-5 mm. Tarses 1 et 2 jaunes. Femelle : abdomen noir, remarquablement large et en forme de club. 3e segment antennaire 1,5 à 2 x plus long que large. Apex du fémur postérieur largement jaune. P-B et BE : assez commun. Marais tourbeux avec massette, et à proximité. Avril à septembre.

Didier.
