Hello,

a 10 mm Pipiza with unusual orange markings. On buttercup flowers next to a small rivulet (northwest Germany).

Hi Jürgen, the yellow spots on the abdomen are very variable within the genus Pipiza. Mixing two individuals within one post is not the best idea.

I know, but in this case it may be really the same individual B). I found it on exactly the same place (< 2 m difference) with a time difference of only a few days. And I never saw more than one specimen.
