Yes, it should be S. torvus, which is listed for Europe, Asia to Japan and Nearctic (Hoverflies of Northwest Europe, van Veen, 2010).
If you want to triple check:
Femur 3 should show: tip with short adpressed black hairs & black on basal ¾.
