Yes, I know, these two are terrible.
So, the very yellow and clavate palpus stands out.
First check is: could this be a Paratyrphera ?
We would need to see the “balloonish” calypter, always difficult to capture in picture.
Also, you could check whether the barrette is hairy by any chance.

Thank you for your effort, Theo. I tried to take a picture of the calypter. I don't really know what the balloonish is supposed to look like, but I compared it with some other tachinds I have and it does seem a bit more balloonish I suppose. It seems to fit well with Paratryphera bisetosa

It is one of those Paratryphera with yellow palps, I guess you have bisetosa indeed .
