Hi,

Here is a specimen I'm not sure about the family.

To me, this big subscutellum should make it a Tachinidae, but I can't make it fit in any genus (and with those longs hairs on arista, I believe it should be easy!)
So maybe I am wrong and it is a Sarcophagidae?

This specimen has two post ia
Prosternum hairy
3 post dc,
R1 hairy
from radio cubital node, hairy till halfway to rm.
Eyes bare

(Lateral view of the head gives a strange impression of hairs on the face. It is same individu)

Caught in the dunes.
