How worried should I be that I've made a mistake with a Sarcophaga sp that has keyed out to a species that is described as having a maximum size that is a couple of millimetres less than my specimen? It's got 3 post-sutural acrosticals, which seems to eliminate most of the big species. It's male, but unfortunately its genitalia were uncooperative and I haven't managed to extend them well enough to make much sense of them. I may have other similar specimens collected on the same day from the same site though, as I am only halfway through identifying them. It's not the only Sarcophaga specimen from the site that I've tackled already.
