Hello

Yesterday I took some pictures of a small blue Calliphorid in a clearing in a park. I'm not completely sure of the genus but I think Melinda is the best possibility. Do you confirm ? If OK, it would be the first time I had seen a fly of this genus.
For the species, I think it's closer to M. gentilis but I'm not sure at all. I think eyes are quite close and I have the impression that there is an ia just before the suture (at least on the left) but my pictures may lack definition to be sure. And I find males of Melinda viridicyanea less "rounded" than my fly. What's your opinion about it ?

Found in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis, Île-de-France, France
On the 2nd of November 2022
Body length : around 5-6 mm

Yes, it is a male Melinda. I am generally too lazy the ID them, check the prae IA, colour of palpus and width of vertex (if well enough visible)

I completely forgot to thank for you anwser. Melinda, a ne genus for me. I think M. gentilis remains the best possibility but my pictures lack a good resolution.
