Hello,
I found this very little fly on a blade of grass in my garden (Lille ; North of France) at the beginning of October.
Is it the genus Scaptomyza and the species pallida as it was suggested to me on LMDI ?
And there is another question : do individuals of the Scaptomyza pallida species have only yellowish wings or can they have also transparent wings ?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Dominique

Indeed S. pallida, a female. The wings of this species are transparent, not much yellowish.

Yhank you very much, Jan, for your answer about the identity of this little fly and about the colour of the wings in the species, it is very interesting.
