Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tiny black fly (18.10.22)

Hello,

this fly measured only 1.5-2 mm. On a rail over a small brook (northwest Germany). Could it be Drosophilidae? A dark Scaptomyza?

thanks, you may be right. But this fly seems more slender than all Psilopa I've seen so far.
