Mediterranean scrub. South central spain. may 2022. 600 m.

I think it's Estheria, but the only species with such an elongated prementum lives in Canary Islands (as far as I know), so I'm probably wrong...

Hi Theo.

I don't know what you mean with "any change we can see the proboscis" (my english is not good), but i've more photos of other individuals in which we can see the proboscis clarely

Yes, our posts crossed. It is indeed the well known Estheria with long proboscis from the Canary Isles: simonyi.

From Spain, it is Rhamphina cf. pedemontana.

Oh! It's a new genus to me!
I had never seen it. There are two species in iberian penĂ­nsula, Do you know if exist some key character, besides the flexibility of proboscis, that separates two species?
