Thank you for the input. In Cerretti's "The world woodlouse flies (Diptera, Rhinophoridae)"
Stevenia sardoa, which was previously considered a synonym of
S. deceptoria, was treated again as a distinct valid species upon further examination of the syntypes. In the same paper it's also stated that "
S. sardoa differs from S. deceptoria in having the fore and hind femora at least partly red.".
In this specimen the femora seem to be entirely black, so I think that
S. deceptoria is still more likely.
Are there any other possible species?
