Hi all!

Rather small (~ 10 mm), looks like Tabanus for me, but I can't find the exact match.

Found 13.7.2022 in Germany, Upper Bavaria, north of Traunstein, drumming around on a bridge railing with its forelegs (like many male Tabanids do on any surface).
Coordinates: 47.89372, 12.62815

If you don’t know the size, it is a straightforward T. bromius.

Thanks Theo!

Maybe a bit smaller than normal, and another 2 mm underestimated...

Since the male is still missing in the gallery, I will submit it there.
