I thought it was the first Phasia for the year. But when I look at the picture I see it´s something else.
Rondania fasciata? (The male)

I think Rondania fasciata is correct:
length petiole approx. = post-angular vein
abdomen nearly undusted - tergites with yellow stripes basally

Rondania fasciata is much redder on tergites.

I am thinking Graphogaster brunnescens male.

I haven´t seen any of them irl, and I do not have the fly. And the pictures is bad.
Looking at pictures of Graphogaster, it does not look like it, I think. But I don´t know of course.
In real life it really looked like Phasia barbifrons/pusilla. Same size and completely black.

Graphogaster brunnescens can be found from end of June, this was in mid-may.

In any case, your first pic is obviously a mistake, simce it is a male Bibio. Maybe better to remove it ?

This is a typical Rondania fasciata

As you can see, much more orange.
That said, your fly has brownish spots on tergites which are surprisingly similar in shape.
So this could be a very dark Rondania fasciata ?

I think it really is more brownish om the sides of the abdomen, although it´s hard to see.
Sorry for the bad pictures, and thanks for the discussion and help.
