I picked up this Eupeodes sp. today in our garden near Hannover (Mittellandkanal nähe). Can anyone tell me the exact species ? I am wavering between Eupeodes corollae and Eupeodes luniger.

Hello Rainer,
this should have better been posted in the Syrphidae subforum.
It is a male
Eupeodes luniger (spots not reaching the tergite margins).
